Audience statistics privacy

Cosmos Valencia FC measures only its public website audience to understand website use. These statistics are not used for personalised advertising, individual profiles, cross-site tracking or identifying which campaign brought a member.

We store daily counts by page, approximate country, device, language and source. Shared UTM campaign codes group visits to tagged links; advertising click identifiers such as fbclid and full referring URLs are not retained.

We also count join clicks, form starts and visible active seconds, without reading or storing form contents. Actual memberships are counted separately from club records and are never linked to browsing.

We do not store individual events, IP addresses, user-agent strings, visitor IDs or session IDs. IP and browser headers are processed temporarily to estimate daily audience using a statistical sketch that cannot reconstruct the original identifiers. Days and browsing journeys are not linked.

Public analytics does not read or write cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable this measurement. Necessary sign-in and payment features are independent of these statistics.

New aggregates and advertising comparison figures entered by the administrator are retained in a 90-day window. To avoid duplicate retries, the server temporarily keeps a random delivery digest with no visit data or link to other deliveries: it expires after 5 minutes and is cleaned every minute while the service is running. It does not identify visitors.

Previous public-site data is kept separately as unverified history for up to 25 months. Shared networks, VPNs, blockers and quick exits affect precision. Privacy contact: info@cosmosfcspain.com.
